Meet Fernando

Dear Neighbor,

I, Fernando Ansaldo, am a life-long resident of the City, and I have served our residents in a variety of roles, including as Vice-Chair of the Soledad General Plan Advisory Committee. I am a proud product of Soledad, as I attended our local schools within the Soledad Unified School District and graduated from Soledad High School. I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz and a Master’s degree in Education from San Diego State University. I am passionate about public service and improving the quality of life of others. I have worked as an educator in Soledad schools, and I am currently a university admissions counselor at San Jose State University.

I am running for City Council because our city deserves transparent representation, especially during a crucial time for Soledad. As Soledad aims to grow in size, we need to ensure our city government prioritizes the needs of Soledad residents. As your City Councilmember, I will advocate for truly affordable housing, solid infrastructure, and outstanding community resources for all residents.

I would be honored to receive your vote as we work together towards bettering the community of Soledad.

Vote Fernando Ansaldo on March 5th!
